California - Day Trips
 Wine
Country Tour Shuttle specialize in day tours of the Napa Valley from San
Francisco. Their major tour includes a picnic lunch, four winery stops, a
ride over the Golden Gate Bridge and then a 50-minute relaxing Ferry/Bay Cruise
back to San Francisco. They also run a trip to Muir Woods and in addition,
offer day trips of San Francisco and customized trips. They

 Appellation Tours
specialize
in pre-arranged 4 hour, 6 hour and 8 hour limousine wine tours and customized tours to a
variety of locations in Napa and Sonoma. They will pick you up wherever
you are.
 Wine Country Jeep Tours
offer 3 hour and 4 hour winery tours on back roads in a customized 4-wheel
drive touring vehicle. The tour features the Russian river, the
Sonoma coastline and the coastal redwoods.
Wine
Country Safari specialize in 10 am to 5 pm tours of between six and eight
small, highly acclaimed wineries in the Napa or Sonoma valleys, offering tasting
of exceptional, limited quantity wines. Tasting is normally conducted by the
wine maker and/or owner of the winery and includes wines currently available and
barrel tasting of future releases. They will pick you up and return you to
your hotel.
 The
Napa Valley Wine Train is a seductive combination of train travel and
wine tasting, featuring morning, afternoon and evening excursions.
Various wining and dining options are available. Some tours include a
Grgich Hills Winery Tour and others feature a murder mystery interactive play.
If you are holidaying in San Francisco and like the idea of hiking in Muir
Woods to see the redwoods in the morning and then exploring a couple of Sonoma

California - Multi Day Trips
 Wine &
Dine Tours & Events, located in St Helena,
California, was established in 1990 by former Napa Valley Chef, David Mitchel.
They custom design tours in the wine regions of Northern California, Italy, Australia and New Zealand.
They
are #7 in Yahoo’s top ten wine tour sites as of 8/10/06.
 Napa Insiders are
owned and operated by Jackie Richmond and Jim Tennant - two of Napa's best-known
travel professionals. They run two five day trips annually - a Valentine
Wine lovers tour in February and a Harvest & Crush Tour in October.
 Bicycle
Adventures organize a variety of bicycling tours in California wine country
including the redwoods, ranging from four to seven days.
Okanagan
 Vinequest will
organize a customized wine tour based on your needs including, airfare, hotels,
restaurants, ground transportation and activities In 2004, they also ran two
four day tours - one in spring and one in fall.
 Okanagan Wine Country
Tours are based in Kelowna and were established by Patricia Tetrau who has
been in the wine business for over 17 years. Their basic offering is year round
˝ day and full day wine tours featuring a tour of the facility, wine tasting,
gift shop browsing and on some tour a vineyard lunch stop. VIP tours are
also available and for the truly decadent, there are combination ski and wine
tours.
 The
Naramata
area is located a few minutes north of Penticton and is being touted as
the potential Napa Valley of Canada. Check it out while it is still an
"emerging" destination
